People with intellectual and developmental disabilities are vital and vibrant members of our communities, improving the quality of life for all of us. They are good schoolmates, valuable employees, caring friends and contributing members of our communities.
They live with their natural family, as part of a special family unit in one of The Arc Northwest Indiana 23 small group homes, or in their own residence with support from The Arc Northwest Indiana. They work in one of The Arc Northwest Indiana facilities in Crown Point, Gary, Highland and Hobart, or in jobs in the businesses of 121 employers throughout Lake County.
